New issue of the journal "Urban Studies and Practices"

The long-awaited special issue Urban Standard and Norm and Their (Post)-Socialist Transformation was released, edited by Nikolai Erofeev (Oxford University) and Marina Sapunova (HSE University).

This issue focuses on the topic of standardization and norms in urban environments and spatial planning. In recent years, the history of standardization in architecture and urban planning has been increasingly discussed in the academic world and becomes part of the curricula for architects and urbanists. The issue includes articles on the theory, history and practice of normalization in the post-Soviet space.

The full version of the issue is available online at the journal's website, as well as on cyberleninka.ru and elibrary.ru platforms.
